Mission Statement
RBCERTAA is a non-profit organization created to organize and maintain the skill levels of CERT graduates. We accomplish this by supporting and attending ongoing emergency response training. Members are encouraged to achieve a high level of preparedness and provide volunteer support to the Redondo Beach Fire Department when a major disaster strikes, or when activated by the RBFD in the event of an emergency.

2007-2008 Goals
1. Improve communication with the public to increase class attendance by 30%.
2. Support the Redondo Beach community by participating in at least 6 community events.
3. Raise at least $10,000 to go toward the purchase of radios for disaster communications, fire suppression equipment, ongoing operating expenses and future projects.
4. Support and encourage Alumni attendance at quarterly training events with the RBFD.

Five committees (Communications, Funding, Public Relations, Community Involvement, and Equipment) exist to support goals of the organization.  See the Volunteer page for more information and how you can help.
